There are many teams where you can serve here at Living Word!

FrontlineS

The Frontlines team is responsible for connecting and welcoming people with a friendly face as they enter the doors of the church.  You will be ushers and greeters, helping people at the resource wall and welcome desk, and passing out communion. But more importantly you will be the ones responsible for befriending newcomers and all those who call Living Word their home.

Cafe

There is nothing quite like a cup of coffee and a snack to make people feel comfortable and at home. Those on the Cafe team will put their barista skills to good use in serving refreshments to those in attendance on Sunday mornings.

Worship/production

The Worship and Production team is responsible for leading those who attend Living Word into a time of reflection and gratitude for Christ through music.  This may include singing or playing an instrument but this also includes sound, lights, and media/slides.

Children/Youth

Living Word places a high priority on serving and engaging with the next generation.  From rocking babies, to chasing toddlers, to singing songs and teaching Bible stories to elementary age kids, to playing crazy games with middle schoolers, and connecting with High Schoolers as they transition into adulthood, there is always a place to serve with the youth.

safety/Security

The people who serve on this team place your safety at the forefront of their minds while you are at Living Word. They patrol the parking lot and the facilities to make sure you and your vehicles are taken care of so you can relax and engage in service. They are also our primary greeters as they welcome you into the Parking Lot and point you in the right direction with their smiling faces.

Cleaning, building maintenance, & Grounds Care

Cleaning Team 2.jpg

This team of people volunteer to serve the people who come to our building throughout the week.  They clean the bathrooms, wipe down windows, vacuum floors, take out the garbage, straighten chairs, paint rooms, mow the lawn, trim foliage, etc. But most importantly, they make people feel welcome at Living Word by ensuring that it is a clean, warm, pleasant, and safe environment for people to encounter Jesus and community.
